2010 has been a busy year. A year of building, of change, of growth, and a year of reflection. I’m thankful for everyone who continues to visit my site and for the continued support and encouragement of my friends and peers. 2011 is going to be a great year- one that I’m looking forward to very much. I hope you all have a great holiday season wherever you are and hope to see you back again in the new year. Merry Christmas!

When I’m not on the computer researching for a shoot or behind the camera, you are most likely to find me roaming various op shops looking for hidden treasures. I recently bought these coloured glasses from Salvos for $2 each. Although they’re quite worn, the imperfections bring a character and charm that lends itself nicely to these vessels. I love the colours, and knew they’d look equally great displaying pretty flowers on a table as they would in the hands of guests at a party.

So, this is what I’ve been up to recently…
I shot a streetstyle series (pictured above) last week for The Canberra Times’, online music guide ‘Fly’. Follow the link to their facebook page to see the rest of the photographs and to read about the very handsome Dylan.
I also had my first article published! I’ve always loved to write and have especially enjoyed working on the film reviews I’ve written for my blog. To have my first piece published by someone else however, is pretty monumental and a little exciting!
In addition to this, I recently shot the first installment for Monbizwé‘s Lookbook for the summer collection (which incidentally, is amazing). It was a really fun shoot; lot’s of creative energy and the girls we photographed were fantastic. They also happen to be identical twins! At this stage, the collection looks set to launch in mid January 2011- until then, I’ll have to sit tight on the images but I can’t wait to show you!
