Old Hollywood Style | James Franco

James Franco having a Hemingway moment. Can’t get enough of that old hollywood style and his mind….well, that’s just sexy. His aspirations and his commitment to his greater education are inspiring.

Mia Wasikowska | Face of Miu Miu 2012

From Top: Photographed by Santiago Sierra for Blackbook Magazine, ‘Poor little Punk Girl’ photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for W Magazine, Wasikowska as the new face of Miu Miu, Spring 2012, rocking her Femme Fatale in ‘A Touch of Evil’.

Gifted, versatile and quietly self-assured, Mia Wasikowska’s journey to date has been rich, diverse and entirely worth following. Lending her acting prowess to the fashion world as well as the big screen, the latest notch on her belt, as the face of Miu Miu’s Spring 2012 campaign. I would never have recognized her if I didn’t know. Her ability to transform and take on such contrasting roles is her weapon and a powerful one for such a young artist. I’m excited to see her grow into the coming phases of her career. Inspiring indeed.

Quentin Jones | Chanel dancing for Vogue

A little something from my latest hero, Quentin Jones. She’s an american multi-media artist who among other things, creates these magical videos, using photographic stills and animated illustration.

PIECES OF ME | Megan

Photography: Peta Rudd

Name: Megan

Age: 26

Starsign: Pisces

Occupation: Stylist & Business owner of vintage clothing label Liebe Bluhm

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why? I’d be exactly where I am but dream travel destinations would be New York and Paris.

What are you listening to at the moment? I really love hip hop and R&B. There’s always a mix playing in my car. Currently listening to Christina Perri’s ‘A thousand years’.

What inspires you? Seeing how other people live, inspiring blogs, beautiful quotes, Lula Magazine, love….definitely love.

Fashion Icons? I don’t think I have just one style icon. It’s hard to pick just one…I love finding inspiration in strange places and from many different people. Hmmm…Maybe the Olsen twins…They have been a secret style obsession for many years.

What is your favourite piece in your wardrobe and is there a story connected to it? I really love this outrageous Trelise Cooper sequin jacket (pictured above) I bought a few years ago. It’s so over the top, but every time I look at it and wear it, it makes me happy.

If you were financially able to do as you please, what would you do to fill your time? Lots of decorating and styling- playing with pretty things.
